The Watch
Mongrel, out of either guilt or honour, goes to visit Biscuits in Duntt Penitentiary. While causing the odd bit of mayhem here and there, he meets many new, as well as familiar faces, including someone he thought was dead. Naturally, being in jail brings out the worst in people, and Mongrel learns the hard way what life is like behind bars. And when he tries to leave, he finds that he’s more than welcome to stay. In fact, they insist.
A Special Place In Hell
Making good on an earlier threat, Captain Pete visits Mongrel one night to show him a series of events in his life from the past, present, and future, like a certain Christmas story. But this isn’t a happy, feel good story; this is a vindictive act of sweet, sweet revenge from the captain, as he shows Mongrel his worst nightmares, proclaiming them to be true.
The Importance Of Constantly Being Surprised
Mongrel does his best to cope with the daily routine of prison life; cleaning the cellblock, meeting and getting assaulted by numerous inmates and guards, and even partaking in the establishment’s fine traditions of manual labour and recycled food. But in the back of his mind is that nagging sensation that he must figure out a way to convince those in charge that he’s not a prisoner, or, failing that, try to escape. Oh, and not getting raped would be nice too.
Jaywatch
Mongrel is kidnapped by an old nemesis, indicating that his dreams, or rather nightmares, were taking a turn for the prophetic. Armed with only a handful of wits, he must fight to survive the night with dangerous men, a nearly-crazy farmer, a violent refrigerator, and an escaped convict.
How To Be Monolithic
Mongrel washes ashore on an unnamed island. But not just any unnamed island – THE unnamed island; populated with a heathen, barbaric people who are the mortal enemies of the good, wholesome people citizens of Dunttstown. Mongrel must tread carefully, keeping his true identity a secret, and find a way home.
Frank And The King
Mongrel, in keeping his word to DERFtron, seeks out the Mad Scientist Bosley in hopes he can restore his friend to his original human body. As always, things don’t go according to plan. When they finally locate Bosley, he turns out to be more than they bargained for.
Good For Business
It has been a while since Mongrel had spent time in Dunttstown, and he has a lot of catching up to do. While running some errands he encounters Captain Pete, who is no longer working alone. It will take every ounce of his not-substantial genius to come out alive.
Correctile Dysfunction
After setting up a meeting with Beby’s psychiatrist, Mongrel has to navigate the Dunttstown Psychatric Hospital and all its ‘interesting’ patients. As for the doctor himself, well, he has some interesting plans for Mongrel.
Murderproof
Finding himself an unwitting pawn in Dr. Rushkov’s mind games, Mongrel becomes a patient at Dunttstown Psychatric Hospital. Not only must he survive among crazy people, but he has to rely on them to help overthrow his capture and secure his freedom – and his sanity. Meanwhile a strange plague is infecting the entire hospital, turning everyone into mindless zombies out for Mongrel’s blood.
Things That Separate Us From The Monkeys
Though Mongrel managed to escape the psychiatric hospital, he didn’t escape it in one piece. Now he must venture into the big city to regain what he has lost before it’s too late. But while there he finds something else he lost, and learns much about himself that he wishes weren’t true.
