Random Tangent
This is basically a series of stories I began writing a few years ago, It had grown to ten stories, which followed a general path of continuity, by the time I found an online site to publish them. I had a rough time getting the book made, mostly due to the main files being corrupted on my computer, and me being a perfectionist, but now hopefully I can sell it to people and make a pittance from it.
Here is the synopsis:
Mongrel Stevens is a brutally ordinary fellow. He is unlucky in love, enjoys cheese, is a champion bullshit fighter, makes friends easily, and does his best to be a good, well-mannered citizen. But this is not a story about Mongrel Stevens, although he happens to be extensively involved, much to his dismay. This is a story about Dunttstown, the most peculiar, baffling suburb this side of reality. It’s filled with ludicrous people, who provoke Mongrel, once again to his dismay, into suffering bizarre and inexplicable misadventures, such as: being abducted by aliens, finding his long-lost estranged and deranged mother, eating at McDonald’s, owning a slave, periodically getting run over by buses, and many, many attempts on his life. Life could certainly be worse for Mongrel, but it would take a very twisted imagination to figure out how. These are his tales of woe.
These are the stories of Random Tangent.
