My New Year’s Resolution

I am about to embark upon something I never thought I’d do.

I am a Star Wars fan, through and through. They are my favourite movies. I can quote them endlessly. One of my primary criteria for finding my soul mate is whether or not she likes Star Wars. I am a Star Wars geek.

What I intend to do is to watch and review every Star Trek movie ever made, and review them as a Star Wars fan. I like to challenge myself, to find new ways to grow as a man, evolve as a human. Of course, in this case perhaps it’s more that I’m a glutton for punishment. I don’t know what good can come of this. Maybe it’s something akin to keeping your enemies closer than your friends. Whatever the case, it’s a new year, and it’s time I forgive what Star Trek has done to society and let bygones be bygones.

This is my new year’s resolution.
